The owners

Nicolas Côté bought the farm from his father in 1981. In 1987, he joined forces with his wife Lynda Hudon and they founded the Papinas farm. Over the years, they have always had one project or another underway to expand and modernize the company. In 2006, after studying farm management and operations at the Cégep d’Alma, daughter Marilyn Côté joined her parents. Marylin is the sixth generation of shareholders of the Papinas farm, which she operates with her parents.

Methods

The Papinas farm’s herd has 140 cows, mainly Holstein with some Jersey. The land covers 300 acres. Well known in their community, the owners are very involved in their region and in improving practices in their industry. Their mission is to create a living environment where the family can do the various types of work that they love.
