The owners

The farm was bought in 1954 by Philippe Taillon, father of Christian and Daniel. Christian, Daniel, François and Philippe Taillon became the four shareholders in 1981. It is currently owned by Christian Taillon, Daniel Taillon, Francis Taillon and Olivier Milot. Francis and Olivier are the next generation and became shareholders in 2017 and 2015, respectively.

Methods

There are currently 75 milking cows and 777 hectares of crops. The farm has been organic since 2003, and the cows are grazed in the summer. Francis, Daniel’s son, studied in another domain before returning to work on the farm in 2015, becoming a shareholder in 2017. Although not related to the family, Olivier will eventually take over the farm, having been employed at the farm since 2004 and a shareholder since 2015. The farm benefits from a great sense of cohesion among the team, as well as great organization. Olivier takes care of field management and Francis of herd management, but everyone gets involved in everything. The owners are innovative and forward-thinking. They are interested in trying new things and new methods, both in the fields and in the barn. Sustainable development is an important part of their daily lives, and they are always looking for ways to improve.
